Weekend Scrapbook Retreat

Happy Halloween to all you scrapbooking spooks out there. I have not been able to come up with the next 12-hour scrapbook date thru November or December. There are constant scheduling conflicts. This is the busiest time of year which makes date availability almost non-existent. I am thinking that after the first of the year to plan an entire weekend. We will all need the break and relaxation to kick back and do some serious scrapping. Don't you agree? All of you that are truly interested in a weekend.....say January or February........please let me know. I can only plan this if I have some feedback as to who is interested in attending. I am thinking of having the usual offers such as make 'n takes/classes/demonstrations, custom die cuts, album embossing and product available for purchase but also massage therapy, manicures/pedicures and other products and services us women enjoy most. If you or anyone you know would also be interested in promoting your specialty during our crop weekend please contact me at info@remembrances.biz.

The dust has settled......I started my new job......and now I can get down to some serious business on this thing. Where are all you scrapbookers out there? Post your layouts or send them in to be posted in our idea gallery. If you choose to post in the store gallery you will receive 5 discount points on a new or existing account. Also I think we should have a contest. Post your layouts here in our little community and once we've got 5 layouts posted, we'll start the voting. Be sure to include in your title "Contest Layout" so everyone will know which to vote on. Whoever gets the most votes will win $10 in free product from our online store. So send in those layouts............can't win if you don't!

First Day of School

I can not believe it is the first day of school already. It seems only yesterday that Brittany was getting out for the summer. And worst......she is going into fifth grade. Next year she's in Junior High............!! :( They grow up so fast.

I remember Kindergarten, 1st grade and even 2nd. Rushing around the morning of the 1st day, trying to get her ready.........and me! Now she gets herself ready. I stand there and just watch. Ask alot of questions but hardly raise a finger. Is that what mom's do for pre-teens? I want the rushing around back. I want the little girl back. Don't get me wrong.....I am tickled to death my daughter is growing up healthy and happy, but I sure do miss the need that comes from her being small. Actually I'm scared to death of teenagehood. If anyone's got advice on that.....please share!

Yes.......the vacation was wonderful and I didn't want to come back. Seeing old friends, family and meeting more family members I had never known before was wonderful. I never remember how much I miss home until I go back there to visit and always end up leaving with a very heavy heart. Who knows maybe someday I will get to go back and stay just a little while longer. Check out my pics from our trip......family reunion, 25th class reunion and my daughters birthday at grandma's. Once I get these scrapped I'll include the lo's also. See ya soon!

Vacation is near......

Good Morning Fellow Scrappers!

Yes.......it is almost time. The long awaited vacation is drawing near and I can't wait! After over a year of non-travel, this poor soul needs some rest and relaxation. I promise pics upon my return.

Of course I will be very busy scrapping afterwards. I have a 25 year class reunion, family reunion, daughter's 10th birthday party and meeting up with Mom's new boyfriend, all pages to attend to at the end of August. Along with all the other 30+ years I still need to finish......who's counting? Pray for me!

Those who know me well know that I am time deprived. Example....I get up by 6am.....check emails, check web stats, review other probably useless website materials and before you know it, it's noon. :0. In this crazy world of new technology, we have less time for anything than 30 years ago when we actually had to "labor" to get anything done. Too bad I didn't have my business and website then. hahahahah!! So bear with me in keeping up my blog. Please add your own so that new visitors to our forum won't get bored with mine! You, fellow scrappers, are great!
